The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running smoothly, minimize downtime, and support a safe, efficient production environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, plant systems, and supporting equipment.

You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager to prioritize tasks, plan maintenance around production schedules, and ensure safety and efficiency in everything you do. Weekend work may occasionally be required, with flex time provided during the week.

What You’ll Do

• Keep equipment running, safely and reliably.
  Install new equipment; clean, lubricate, and perform routine and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (IMM), dryers, thermolators/TCUs, chillers, compressors, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.
• Own preventive maintenance (PM).
  Build, schedule, and execute PM programs across production machinery, forklifts, and plant systems — and keep those programs current.
• Diagnose and fix fast.
  Inspect equipment, investigate irregularities, and complete repairs efficiently so production downtime is minimized.
• Lead root-cause problem solving.
  Run breakdown analyses and implement preventative actions so recurring issues don’t come back.
• Manage parts and vendors.
  Maintain spare parts, tools, and supply inventory; place POs as needed; and coordinate external contractors for HVAC, forklifts, and other specialized plant equipment.
• Be a safety champion.
  Maintain a high safety standard, audit for compliance during maintenance activities, and keep work areas and the parts room clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
• Facility maintenance & support
  Handle day-to-day building and facility upkeep (lighting, minor repairs, basic wiring, etc.) and coordinate external vendors for larger or specialized work when required.
• Flex when needed.
  Occasionally perform weekend/off-hours work for maintenance best done during production downtime (with a weekday flex).

Optional (top-range candidates):

• Controls/PLC support.
  Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming; work with automation/robotics vendors when needed.

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Journeyperson Electrician or Millwright (Red Seal), or equivalent technical/engineering background.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Solid problem-solving and communication abilities.
• PLC/programming skills or injection molding experience = top of pay range ($45–$47/hr).
